Vocal Teacher, Little Wing + Rookies Teacher Nunu
Nunu
Vocal Teacher, Little Wing + Rookies Teacher
Fenunuivao goes by Nunu for short. She grew up in San Jose, California, and attended Sonoma State University, obtaining a bachelor's degree in Music Vocal Performance, Psychology, and School of Education. She started singing in a Christian church, worship team, and church/high school choir. She sang and performed in Voice and Opera/Music Theatre Program and SonoVoce, Concert Choir, and Symphonic Chorus at SSU.

When it's difficult for us to express how we feel through conversations, Nunu believes that music is one of the best ways to help us express our feelings. She believes music brings people together no matter their different backgrounds. When music is played and heard, no matter the genre, the forming of each chord to create the melodies, harmonies, and beats to complete a song is beautiful for the composer as well as the listener. Behind every chord, there's always a story to be told and heard. Nunu is looking forward to sharing her experience and connection to music with vocal students, and younger musicians in the Little Wing and Rookies programs, at School of Rock Las Vegas West and School of Rock Green Valley.
